Green Lodestar Communications & Consulting, LLC, provides freelance writing, research and consulting services. Our primary focus area encompasses zoning and land use law within the context of urban agriculture, local food systems, quality of life issues, biodiversity, and sustainable living. Green Lodestar was formed in 2011 by Massachusetts attorney Kristen M. Ploetz, who uses her experience to meet the growing demand for information about laws and policies that affect the real property rights of individuals, landowners, nonprofits, and municipalities seeking to engage in or promote urban agriculture, biodiversity and sustainable land use practices.
Current and past projects include providing blog writing/editing services for a small zoning/land use law firm, publication of freelance articles in both national and regional periodicals, and editing model guidelines for development of municipal light pollution bylaws.
